On the Camino, there are occasionally signs for places of interest to pilgrims that are a little ways off the actual Camino. You can always choose to keep on going, as Nancy from Germany did today. Or you can say “yes” to the detour. To say “yes” means more walking. To say “yes” means you don’t know what you’ll get. To say “yes” means you might not think it was worth it in the end. And to say “yes” means you might find this old church, atop a hill in an overgrown field, above the green vineyards and the fine, clearing mist.
